What stage is Costa Rica in?
I think Costa Rica is in the fourth stage of the demographic transition. The first evidence of this the moderate NIR, created by the moderate CBR and pretty low CDR. Second, the high life expectancy shows that Costa Rica is in the fourth stage. Last, the low TFR points out that Costa Rica is in stage four. For these reasons, Costa Rica is clearly in stage four of the demographic transition.
